DAY 1

  • 1 egg
  • 1 slice of toast

Lunch
  • 1 cup of cottage cheese
  • 1 hard boiled egg
  • 5 saltine crackers
Supper
  • 2 hot dogs (without bun)
  • 1 cup of broccoli
  • 1/2 cup of carrots
  • 1/2 banana
  • 1/2 cup of vanilla ice cream

DAY 3

Breakfast
  • 5 saltine crackers
  • 1 slice of cheddar cheese
  • 1 small apple
Lunch
  • 1 hard boiled egg (or cooked however you like)
  • 1 slice of toast
Supper
  • 1 cup of tuna
  • 1/2 banana
  • 1 cup of vanilla ice cream
If there are foods on this diet that you are allergic to or do not like, they have a food substitutes on their website. They also have a vegan and vegetarian version of the military diet

Does the military diet work?

Since the military diet is based on low calories, it is but obvious that the excess fats stored in your body will be burned in order to meet up with your energy requirements. However, you may not lose up to 10 pounds in 1 week.
